Residing at “Chinmayam” in Karanthur, Kozhikode, he is supported by his wife, Mrs. Bindu, a retired Headmistress. Together, they have nurtured a family rooted in strong values and education, raising their daughter Aswathi and son Ashwin with the same principles.
Holding a Bachelor’s Degree and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), Mr. Viswanathan has always believed that learning extends beyond the classroom. From a young age, he developed a deep passion for music and actively participated in numerous light music competitions, earning several awards and recognitions. For him, music is not merely an art form but a powerful medium for personal growth, creativity, and social connection.
Driven by his love for music and his keen interest in modern technology, he established the Chinmay Sound Recording Studio, Dubbing & Audio Research Centre in Sulthan Bathery, Wayanad. Equipped with advanced recording facilities, professional microphones, cutting-edge software, and experienced sound engineers, the studio has become a trusted destination for music production, voice recording, dubbing, audio editing, and sound design.
Beyond offering professional audio services, Mr. Viswanathan is deeply committed to nurturing emerging talent. He has consistently encouraged aspiring musicians, singers, and artists by providing them with opportunities, guidance, and a platform to showcase their creativity. His mission is to empower the next generation of artists through quality mentorship and world-class technology.
Retirement marked not the end of his journey but the beginning of a new chapter. Today, he is pursuing his vision of establishing an international-standard, state-of-the-art recording studio in Karanthur, Kozhikode, with the goal of elevating Kerala’s music and audio industry to global standards. His long-term vision is to harness the power of music and technology for the cultural and creative advancement of society.
