Success is often born from passion, dedication, and the courage to follow one’s dreams. The inspiring journey of Akhil from Atholi, Kozhikode, is a perfect example of how creativity can transform into recognition and opportunity.
Born into a humble family, Akhil lives with his wife Reshma, his parents, and two brothers. His elder brother works as an ambulance driver, while his second brother runs a tours and travels business. Growing up in a supportive family environment, Akhil developed a deep passion for art and creativity from a very young age.

During his childhood, he learned classical dance and spent countless hours drawing, crafting, and experimenting with creative projects. He was fascinated by origami and enjoyed creating unique art pieces using paper, eggshells, and other simple materials. What started as a hobby gradually became a lifelong passion.
While studying in Plus Two, Akhil began creating decorative flowers and customized thermocol name boards for weddings and special occasions. This marked the beginning of his journey into professional creative work. Driven entirely by imagination and passion, he designed and built a temple using coconut midribs and a traditional bamboo hut. None of his creations were copied from existing models; every project was a result of his own creativity and vision.
His artistic journey continued with the creation of the famous Mananchira Gate model using thermocol. Although the material was not durable, it inspired him to explore better alternatives. He then shifted to foam board, which provided superior finishing and longevity.
One of his earliest and most admired foam board creations was a model of his own house. The work received tremendous appreciation from friends, family, and the public, eventually becoming widely popular on social media. Soon, small orders started coming in, encouraging him to pursue his passion more seriously.
Over the years, Akhil created remarkable architectural models including:
India Gate
Sabarimala Temple
Ayodhya Ram Temple
Varikkasseri Mana
Govindhanalloor Temple
Various custom-designed structures
Among these, his detailed model of Sabarimala Temple became a turning point in his career. The project gained significant public attention, bringing him widespread recognition. Following its success, many people from different parts of India and abroad contacted him with appreciation and project inquiries.
His talent earned him opportunities to be featured on television channels and media platforms. He began receiving orders from various states and even international enquiries. Due to transportation challenges, he could not complete some overseas projects, but he successfully delivered a miniature Sabarimala Temple model to a client in Pune.
As his reputation grew, Akhil was invited to several public functions where he received awards and recognitions for his exceptional craftsmanship. He was also honoured as a chief guest for the inauguration of various establishments, a testament to the respect he earned through his work.
What makes Akhil’s journey truly remarkable is that he has never built this as a commercial company or brand. Every creation has been driven purely by passion, dedication, and love for art. Today, he primarily works with Multiwood and Forex Foam Sheets, creating highly detailed and durable architectural models that continue to impress clients across India and abroad.
Despite his achievements, Akhil remains focused on learning and growth. His dream is to expand his skills, explore new creative possibilities, and take his craftsmanship to a global audience. With increasing international orders and growing recognition, his journey is proof that when passion meets perseverance, extraordinary success follows.
Akhil’s story is not just about creating models; it is about building dreams, preserving heritage, and inspiring others to pursue their passion fearlessly.
