Arsu’s Healthy Innovations brings guilt-free cakes designed for mindful indulgence and better well-being.
In a quiet corner of Punaloor, a young woman named Arathikutty began a journey that would one day inspire countless others. What started five years ago as a simple love for cooking has today grown into Arsu—a thriving baking brand with multiple outlets, 35 employees, and a vision rooted in passion, resilience, and purpose.
A Name Born From Love

“Arsu” is more than a brand name; it carries a story of love and partnership. It is derived from Arathi and Subin, a name she used to scribble in her notebooks long before marriage. When she stepped into entrepreneurship, she chose the name as a tribute to her husband—her constant pillar of strength and support.
A Journey That Began With Just ₹1200
Despite holding degrees in Chemistry, Sociology, and Computer Science, and preparing for the PSC, Arathikutty’s heart always belonged to cooking. During a break from her studies, she immersed herself in baking.
With no oven, no beater, and just ₹1200 as capital, she began selling cakes.
To raise funds, she even pledged her silver anklets—a sacrifice that speaks volumes about her belief in her dream.
Every profit was reinvested. Every tool was bought one by one. Friends supported her, orders grew, and soon she stood at a defining crossroads:
A secure government job or her passionate baking dream.
She chose passion.
A Decision That Changed Lives
Her decision was met with resistance from almost everyone—except her husband and his brother, who now heads the operations of all Arsu outlets.
The journey that followed was anything but easy. Financial struggles forced the family to leave their home. Even during pregnancy, she continued baking. After a complicated C-section, she returned to work within a month—determined not to lose her customers during the lockdown.
With a newborn baby, no external support, and countless hurdles, she restarted from a small rented home—dreaming not of remaining a home baker, but of building something much bigger.
From a Small Corner to Four Outlets
In time, her dreams took shape.
• The first outlet opened in Agasthycode
• Then came Punaloor (her hometown)
• Followed by Karavaloor
• And finally Anchal
Today, Arsu operates multiple outlets, supported by professional bakers and a growing team working under one shared vision.
Her husband left his own business to stand beside her completely. What began as a personal dream became a family mission.
A Bakery With a Heart
Arsu is not just another bakery. Its uniqueness lies in its values:
• Live Cake Baking: Custom cakes prepared within 15 minutes, right in front of customers
• Pure, Preservative-Free Desserts: No chemicals, no shortcuts

From One Baker to a Team of Many
In the beginning, she was the only baker. Today, Arsu employs 35 people, including more than four professional bakers, with recruitment ongoing as the brand continues to expand.
Each season brings more growth, deeper learning, and stronger determination.

Through Arsu, she has created more than a brand—
